Smiles of Grace

Forney Family Dentistry has just finished their 4th annual Smiles of Grace event.

This year it was held on Saturday, October 17th. Year after year, Smiles of Grace has been available to those in need of dental care who could otherwise not afford it. This ministry continues to bless everyone involved.

Smiles of Grace is a ONE day event offering free dentistry for ANYTHING people need. God has abundantly blessed my practice and has given me a heart to serve and give back to the community through the talents and abilities He has so richly given me. Since Smiles of Grace was established, it has been my desire to offer unlimited services to those in need. If people need root canals, crowns, dentures, partials, cleanings, extractions, fillings…..whatever is needed, we have provided it pro bono and used our own supplies.

Here are just a few other ways Smiles of Grace and Forney Family Dentistry gave back to the community that day: We gave out free Bibles, bags of groceries, there is a blood drive for recipients of our care to give back if they choose, and an optometrist was providing  free  eye  exams  and  prescription  eye  glasses.  We provided food for all our volunteers, prayer and support for those who desire it, and we are presently trying to find a way to offer free immunizations. This is TRULY an amazing event!

The foundational scripture for Smiles of Grace is 1 Peter 4:10-11. God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen.

I believe God has equipped every one of his children with talents to glorify his kingdom. I pray that we all use the talents He has given us to glorify  Him  daily.  This event allows everyone involved to share those talents with others and to encourage others that through  HIS GRACE we are beloved, chosen, and loved by Him.  When  someone  hears that….  They smile…. Hence “Smiles of Grace”
