Now entering its eighth year of business, Roberts Dental Ranch is a thriving combined pediatric dentistry and orthodontic practice in the heart of Prosper. Dr. John has embodied the concept of dental home by starting routine oral health care for children ages 12 months through their teenage years. Dr. Raenie has established her practice as one of the premier orthodontic practices in the area for patients of all ages.

Doctors John and Raenie moved to Prosper in 2008 after completing residency programs in their specific specialties. Faith, family, and community have always been important to the doctors and they fell in love with Prosper after one visit. “We knew we wanted to open a practice in a place where we could plant roots, raise a family, and be part of the community,” Dr. John says. “Prosper is a wonderful community known for its pride, excellent schools, and small town ideas and we are happy to live and work here.”
While the doctors take dental health seriously, their office has a fun and upbeat vibe. Drs. John and Raenie agree, “We feel our patients deserve exceptional dental care in an enjoyable, and compassionate environment. Televisions are mounted above the chairs so patients can watch a movie during their appointment. There are gaming stations in the waiting room, and iPads on the orthodontic side for patients to play on. Even our cutting edge x-ray technology is fun! Our hand-held, portable x-ray unit looks a bit like a Buzz Lightyear toy gun and is less intimidating to children.”
Drs. John and Raenie believe in giving back to the community. The entire team at Roberts Dental Ranch continuously works hard on the prevention of disease and injury. Each year the office has its annual ‘Toothtalk’ campaign, traveling to area elementary and preschools to teach children how to correctly brush and floss their teeth. This year the team personally reached over 7000 children and provided each of them with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. Additionally, every summer they make free custom sport mouth guards for children of all ages playing in contact sports.
